Selling my Smittybilt bar, the lights on there are shot... been fighting with pro comp about them for about 3 months now. They are 9 months old, bases are cracked, they are rusted etc. Been trying to get them replaced under warranty but it turns out they consider them "disposable", not sure what part of $200 something bucks is disposable. I will never buy another pro comp product again.

You have to sell to them why them sponsoring you would be good for their business, or sometimes sponsors approach you with offers. Being sponsored doesn't always mean free and it's not that easy to get sponsors. I'll be running a big decal on the windshield for them so forums, social media, big shows I attend their name will get out.

Well I guess it all helps you partially finance all the cool stuff you keep doing. I'm not sure how much I'd like decals like that on my truck, but the ones you've got on your rockers look good. But that all makes sense!

I'm a picture *****, y'all are picture ****** so pictures it is.

Been thinking about powder coating my bumpers for some time now since the chrome is a little out of place. So my friend talked me into this plasti dip shananigans just to see what it would look like, went with black since it's between powder coating them black or red.

pretty sure they're going to be powder coated bright red to match the truck.

Finished glassing on the inside, as you can see I have some imperfections on the edges that I need to clean up.

Besides the minor imperfections I need to fix on the edge I'm extremely happy and proud with my first fiberglass job. I did a lot of reading and research that's the reason I felt so confident undertaking this project. Now onto tackling the passenger door before I start doing the whole body work and sanding business.

Door looks good so far, especially for a first try! But definitely powder coat red to match. I think black bumpers make trucks look like stripped out fleet trucks. It's not as clean of a look. Red will give the FX4 look.

Thanks guys

Not much of an update but it's an update nonetheless, all about the little details. I'm gonna have him design some factory looking/custom 4x4 decals for the bedsides where the factory ones go.

Haven't updated too much lately been busy helping everybody else work on their stuff.

I just found out within the past two days that I have not 1 but 2 photoshoots at Scrapin the Coast! so things I was going to leave undone for a later date suddenly need to be finished.......

I'll be temporarily wrapping the pods on the doors with a short hair fur to hide the imperfections. It matches pretty well with the interior.

Putting in the trim piece on the console tomorrow at some point before work.

Bed rails were super faded, painted them to match real quick.....

Really like the bed rails PTM. Did you sand them smooth or just painted them textured?

Fantastic build man! Second picture I could tell you were at the Lake Front. Ever take her out there on the weekends? It would be cool to see that Benz out there as opposed to all the Vettes which are still nice cars. Great to see some one else from NOLA on here. Any more room at the shop for 1 more? Haha I'm kidding. Just checked ya'll out on Facebook. Liking the HID giveaway.

Maybe I can give you a little business. How much would it cost to tint my truck. '07 regular cab. I'm looking for 20% or lower. How much would that cost and how long would it take?

Just painted textured. They were extremely faded so I figured I'd throw some paint on them real quick for the photoshoots.
