Spark Plug Swap @119K Miles - No Problems :)

If you are in the Colorado area near the front range, and you still haven't changed your plugs - I highly recommend Interstate Ford to do the job.

I was going to do it myself, but while I had my company F350 in for it's 100K fluid change, I got to talking with the service manager and he said he had two mechanics that had the process down and rarely if ever broke a plug. My F150 is a 2004 and this was the first time it ever went to a shop for work. It's been practically flawless for 119K.

It was pricey, but one of those guys got all 8 swapped without any breakage, did it in a few hours, and it was worth it to not have to deal with this myself. So if you're nervous and can afford it, go drop $438 and let someone else do it.

$438?! That's a steal. We tried changing a buddy's on his '06 and couldn't get 3 out, so I didn't want to do it myself and risk it when I got a misfire @ 84k. Set of spark plugs, with some break offs, and one coil turned into a $900 repair. Spread the word about that dealership!
