Mirror turn signal question

Just picked up an 06 Mark LT. Pics are in here:

Anyways my right mirror signal isnt working, can i fix this myself or does an entire new mirror need to be ordered?

I have searched and couldint find a clear answer.

Take the inside door panel off. Be careful with the panel as it is a twist, lift, and pull. If you just pull the forward-upper plastic hook may break. I've seen dealers do this by mistake.

There are 3 screws for the mirror. Remove the bottom 2. Remove the opt screw while holding the mirror so you don't drop it. Unplug the mirror and check the wiring harness continuity at the truck with a voltage tester. If you have voltage at the wiring harness then get an electric diagram and try to trace the problem. It could be a relay or fuse. If the problem is in the mirror they are difficult to re-assemble. That said, you just found out how easy it is to replace the mirror yourself.
