Sup guys. As the title suggests, just picked up an 06 Mark LT a couple weeks ago. This will be my second ford vehicle, second Lincoln to be exact. I also own a 2006 Lincoln LS, fully loaded and just paid it off.

Truck has 65K miles right now. carfax shows lots of maintenance done to it, including tranny flush at 45K. Dipstick shows good level and bright red fluid. Has the tow package and backup sensors. No moonroof, but my LS has one that i didn't really use much anyways.

Been reading these forums a bit and searching before i post any new threads. Not new to forums so i already know the search before you ask question. Only issue i have with the truck is my right mirror turn signal isnt working. Dealer only item? Could it be a fuse? The left one works just fine.

And i replaced the cowl today. Was a bit of a pain, and i lost one of those metal pins. Dealer only part i assume. Is it really necessary? Appreciate any feedback. Plans for the truck are 22" wheels, bed cover and a magnaflow exhaust. Maybe a projector retrofit at some point. May or may not lower.

 

Congrats, truck looks nice. You don't see to many Mark LT's around.

Haven't messed with my cowl so don't know on that one. Your mirror might just have a burnt bulb? Start with the easiest and work your way back.

Mods so far and the one's you have mentioned sound good.

Guess i will have to ask in the year specific forums. Im pretty sure the mirror has an LED array and not individual bulbs. Owners manual lists it as a dealer visit item.
