Did my plugs!

After lurking here for a year or so I finally did my plugs. I broke 5, 1,2,4,5,8. My 06 F150 had 100055.00 miles on it and was misfiring. I bought the lilse tool a year ago, so I was in good shape. Total time 5 hours. It was about half the time I thought it would take. I got a good deal on HT15 plugs off ebay, 1.75 a plug shipped. I realize some of you have had issues with the Autolites, I did too. Had cylinder 8 not fire after changing. Good thing I got two extra plugs, swapped it out and now it runs great. Thanks to all that have posted there experiences! I definately knew what to expect thanks to you!

The lilse tool is worth twice what they charge for it. If I would have drove to my dads (400 mile round trip) and had his full snap on box , it would have been easier. I only had a hodge podge mix of miscellaneous tools. Chip

Did you do it cold? Or warm the engine first? I need to do mine also.

Remember how to change them.....the autolites won't be a good deal after 10-20k in miles....
