Water in bed issue

The way that my truck sits, it slopes slightly forward. I lived in California for 7 years so this wasn't a problem, but now I live in Virginia and it rains a lot here. I've been noticing that the water is pooling in my truck, and since I drive it a lot less here due to the length of my commute, I'm worried that it is going to rust my bed out. Shouldn't there be drain holes somewhere up by the cab? I can't seem to see any but I also have a toolbox that is restricting my view. The truck is an 04 Lariat.

There are a bunch of drain holes along the front edge of the bed. They look like slits every few inches.

Yup, there are drain holes in my 2010. If you have them, clean them out, if you don't, drill some. You will rust in Virginia, you get snow and they salt so it will rust. Look up a Krown dealer.

If you drill holes, clean the edges and paint them.

Many times the holes get blocked by Line-X, trash, debris, dirt,
etc.
