K&N Cold Air Intake, Worth it?

I have recently looked into buying a K&N Cold Air Intake off of Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/57-2556-Fuel-Injection-Performance-Intake/dp/B000CO9U32/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top http://www.amazon.com/57-2556-Fuel-Injection-Performance-Intake/dp/B000CO9U32/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
anyone here have it and have any suggestions/comments about it?

Save your $$$ and do the "GOTTS" mod......do a search for the details. It does a much better job than that K&N.

Not worth the money! I had that for years on my '04. All it adds is intake noise. No power improvements whatsover. The stock intake is more than capable of supplying enough air for a stock engine.
It did however add a (dangerous) lean condition but I was able to get a custom tune on my flash tuner to compensate for that.

When I totaled my truck I removed it but didn't install it on my current '05.

Its just a pile of parts in my basement now. LOL

I have a 08 with volant and love it had it for over 5 years no issue and definitely notice difference, mainly with throttle response with out it I hit gas a delay with I hit gas and it moves. I know some people have issues running lean but I can say that I've hadn't issues what do ever since I've had it.
