Update from today. I picked up a UWS lo-pro toolbox for 100.00 yesterday. Also I painted the inside of my rear fender wells white to help match a litte bit. Looks a lot better.

Tomorrow I'm changed the oil and maybe tackling the plugs... Who knows...

Pictures!

I have bluetooth and it doesn't display the song. I used to be able to change the song, play and pause, with the last ipod update, now with ios6 I can't. Any ideas?

That is one sexy truck, if I was going to lift my truck I would probably be going that route. DirtyD, can you post some pics of the inside of your rear fender wells that you painted. I'm interested to see what that looks like.

Btw I'm guessing you are a suzuki fan with all those Busa's.

Yeah I can do that tomorrow.

Lol, yeah that's all I really buy/ride. I buy and sell them a lot. I have a busa I'm about to stretch 24" and throw a 300 tire on it. I'll post pictures of that too.

Love everything about your truck - I was thinking of selling mine - but after finding out how little it's worth I think ill be doing a lot if the same upgrades as you because I do love the truck. Can you give more info on you HID install? I'd really like to change my stocks for HIDs...

Updated pictures of the fender wells. Not the prettiest but I don't have scrubbing issues.

Our trucks looked almost identical before I re- painted my bottom white.. It's looking good! But like what was mentioned before I would look to a set of custom retrofitted projectors. I did mine myself, and absolutely love them. The output is night and day difference to what it was with PnP HIDs and they do not glare in oncoming traffic which is way worse with a lifted vehicle to begin with. Here's what my setup looked like in the end. I used the FX-R Stage 3 kit from TRS with Apollo shrouds and 6K HIDs.

I just hate the way projectors physically look in the headlight. They look cheap to me. The output is a lot better though. How much did that run you?

300. I really don't see how they look "cheap" though. I few that if you seen these in person your mind would change. It is definitely better than blinding everyone coming at me though.

Might be something I look into down the road.

Few shots of the truck. I like to keep this thread updated with pictures. Nothing new.

Well, my plugs weren't as bad as I thought. I pulled the coils out the night before and lubed them up with some PB Blaster and let it sit over night. We only ended up breaking 1 plug and the tool was fairly easy to use. Took us about 2.5 hours to finish the job and I'm so glad I finally did them.

Some Pictures.

It's always a good feeling to get the plugs accomplished. One less thing to worry about down the road!
