Did you use plasti-dip or did you just paint it?

That looks like the Black bedliner stuff. Good for durability, lousy in the heat of summer though...

Plasti-dip is pretty awesome, my truck is black with stock chrome bumpers, I have since dipped them, and last week I helped my buddy dip his car as well. Its fairly cheap and it peals off, you really couldn't ask for more.

let me know when u want to remove it so i can watch. i plasti dipped my emblems and liked the look so i decided to paint them. the dip was on all summer maybe 4 months total. i used maybe 5 or 6 coats and it was a PITA to remove!!. i had to use acetone and goo gone to take it off because it wouldnt pull off in sheets just tiny pieces at a time. i wouldnt even want to think about removing it from an entire vehicle.

Hmm, my truck came with a chrome surround on the grille, and that was the first thing I dipped. It was on for about 7 months before I got a new grille, and it peeled of in about 2 minutes. Not sure what happened with yours.

Same thing with my friends car, has a lot of spots that aren't very even, waiting for good weather to finish it.

love the matte look but I would much rather have a pro do it.

Looks great, I love the matte look! Ya I always heard it was simple to remove, but I have no experience doing so.
