i only used 6 cans... so it cost me about 40$ total with tape.... i would have loved to have a pro do it but im in college

 

Wow, only 6 cans. What color was your truck before? It took 16 cans to do my buddy's car, be we had to cover white.

 

ya like i said im gonna add another coat so probably another two cans

 

i also plasti dipped my entire chrome grille. it still looks really good and im not planning on removing it, im just going to get a new grille eventually. another member on here or maybe a diff forum made a thread about how much of a PITA it was for him to get it off his rim's. i told him he didnt use enough coats because it should come off easy. a few weeks later i went to remove it from my emblems, i was like WTF!?

Doesnt look bad but I would have left it alone and had a shop spray in with Matte black paint. Although im more of a fan of gloss, much much easier to get clean

 

And what exactly is this plasti dip stuff everyone is getting? Can someone link me to it?
