2007 Truck jerking before going uphill

These also commonly have low pressure from the EPC solenoid which feeds the direct clutches (the furthest from the pump), Which in turn burns out the direct clutches. When your mechanic has your tranny out have him drop the pan and turn the torx screw on the back of the EPC solenoid counter clockwise 1/8 of a turn.

If the concern is intermittent the main pressure regulator valve is known to get sticky too. But this usually creates a harsh reverse-drive concern also.

"Update"......converter was changed, trans flushed. No change! Truck is now at a Ford dealership to see what they can find. Rookies had a shot at it. Bring on the Pros.....

this is happening to my 07 as well... the sputter will go away if i hit the throttle... i changed the oil as well and it didnt help..

talked to my buddy which is a ford master tech and he told me its more than likely the spark plugs... said that this kind of misfire can cause this kind of jerking and its pretty common with high mile 5.4L's.. btw i have 138k on my truck...

ill be changing mine out sometime this month... ill keep you posted to see if it helped

2007 truck jerking

Update; Sorry guys for got about this posting. Truck back from Pros. Plugs were replaced, injection system service. Runs and drives like brand new. Cost my dealer $1.100 bucks for repairs "warranty"
