abs light comes on at hwy speed
I have an 08 f150, 2wd. I have had the abs light come on a few times in the last month. It only comes on when I get on the high way and hit about 65-70. It goes off it I stop and turn the truck off and turn it back on. If I'm in town its never comes on, but if I get on the highway, it will come on once I get up to speed. I know about speed sensors and stuff but I'm not sure where to start. I do know for sure the front rotors are slightly warped, but the pads are still fine. So a question I have, will a warped rotor cause the abs light to come on?
Yes I stay in town 95% of time, speeds under 50mph. Light hasnt came on yet in town. It will mainly come right on within a minute of entering the freeway. Houston freeways, so they aren't really straight lines. If the light is off, should I still take it and get the codes checked? Everything on the truck works fine, I'm just picky about the dash lights and I know its just some stupid sensor problem. It does need new rotors up front though, they are warped. Thats what I thought was causing it, because at high speed it shakes worse of course.
Mine did the same thing two years ago. Was the front drivers side sensor that was bad. The wheel bearing in the wheel was bad as well.
I was told if the sensor is going bad, it can also be a sign the bearing is on it's way out.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll see if it throws a code tomorrow, and go from there. I need to do the front brakes so im going to check the bearings while it's apart.
