The most reliable, and highest cooling capacity is a mechanical fan/clutch.

I was wondering if anyone has connected the pcm output for the electric fan clutch to a relay and then to the fans? Is there any reason why that wouldn't work?

Im assuming it is a 12v signal to the electronic clutch to turn it on and would be on constantly anytime the engine is up to temp or if the AC is on. Does anyone have experience with this?
My Lariat also has the electric fan clutch. I picked up a efan from a 2012 f150 (eBay) was wondering if the PCM would run it via the wires to the eclutch or need a good controller. You have any new info. on this and can you please give me a lil advise on the wiring. Thanks, Danny

I have a Delta Current Control setup the previous owner had put on the truck with some 2010 F150 fans. Works great!

I've been asking the same question. If PCM is controlling the eclutch fan. It should control a electric fan with a high amp relay unless I'm missing something- either way I'll find out something this weekend. Doing a lil experimenting😳
