KC Autosound?

Well, as of today I have been trying to get in touch with Travis-- or anyone-- at KC Autosound for two weeks. I have called and left messages, called and not left messages, sent emails, and tried the live chat on his web site. No response at all.

I am trying to buy a Code Alarm AS9076C Remote Start for my '08 Lariat. I can get this module elsewhere, but I really wanted Travis's custom installation instructions and phone support. I hope Travis is ok and nothing is wrong over there.

I've decided to give up on KC and buy the module elsewhere. Does anyone have a set of Travis's instructions for installation of this unit on an '08 Lariat that they would be willing to share or trade?

Thanks!

Yup. Is he out out of business or something?

Having a customer chase you for two weeks to place an order is kind of ridiculous, imo.

Still haven't heard from him. I'm bummed 'cause I'd really like to add remote start to my truck and I don't want a kid with a summer job at Best Buy hacking up the wiring harness.

Wow. Ok, well, thanks for posting back. Too bad, he seems to have had a great rep on this site and a couple of others.

I'm still hoping someone will see this who has the instructions to install an AS9076C on an '07-'08 F-150 and is willing to share them. Did I mention I work for a brewery? If someone can hook me up, they will be well compensated in beer and/or merch.

Sorry guys. I go through spurts of just plain "burn out". I average about 90 hours a week of working. If not in the streets installing locally till 9pm every day I'm up till 3am (like now) working on stuff. The last few weeks have been spent camping and spending every hour I can with my boys who are 2yrs and 6yrs old as well as our 15 year old nephew that we recently adopted. Between work, Tae-kwondo classes, football practice, basketball training camp and just plain LIFE. It's been a real juggling act. I try to get everyone handled but it just gets very taxing after awhile and I have to just step back and take a break sometimes.

Travis is a tough guy to get a hold of but the ford pre-install market he started is more of a side thing. He does many dealership installs, knowing this because I spent many times on the phone with him talking.

I can say waiting for a reply from him is worth it regardless of the time frame. Ive done business with him a few times and the support he provides is priceless.

Anyways, if anyone decides to share their install paperwork is an @sshole. That paperwork Travis prepares is time consuming and should NEVER be shared. If you do you my friend are a tool.
