Thumbs up

If you question it, kindly and politely ask the inspector to show you in the manual. You might ask him if his instrument is calibrated lately, again "politely" is the way. If still not clear, let a Trooper explain it. No matter what others you see, no matter how dark .... that inspector is looking after his own license if smart.

front windows cannot read below 25% (35% film), windshield film needs to be above the as1 line or 5" or less from the top of the windshield.

By accident, not design, I have 15-18% on my rear window and SuperCab windows. The first person to put it in put 35%, but I wanted it al little darker so I bought some 20%. The guy helping me put it on said he didn't wanna mess with removing the old, so he just put the 20 over the 35 and called it a day. So far, no issues from the police or Troopers. No tint on my front windows, and usually ride with my fronts down--that might be why lol.

25% Top 5 Inches Windshield or Above AS1 Line
25% Fronts
Whatever Rear and Back

Don't forget about the tint label

Remember the 25% is final value (35% tint on top of factory will give close to this number)

if you put 20% on top of 35%..then your total tint is more like 7%

I put 40 on my front and in NC it allows 35. But factory takes it down 9 more to 31/32. I have about 7 months till renewal and 'fingers crossed' it will hit 35 on the dot. If not, pull - inspect - new tint lol!

Awesome! Glad you are enjoying your truck so much. I'm hoping to strike it rich in Texas and buy myself a nice 2015 Sterling FX4 SuperCrew to park next to the Grey Ghost lol

Dunno...should I start an exhaust thread on it now, or wait??

Where did you go? The last inspection I had done (for the Mustang) was at the place next to Michaels on Wadley and "A". Took them like hour and half...

I bought 200' of 35% and 5% off ebay for $80 shipped, 2 ply dyed. Screw paying someone to install it when I can do it for a fraction of the price.
