Your gonna lose so much power that when you put your truck in drive you will be going backwards!!! lol. I had a super 40 on my last truck loved the sound. If your getting the sound you want out of it that is all that matters.

^^^ Those are some Savage Crimp bends, OP ... although, Mandrel-bent tubing is a total waste when there's a Fartmaster in residence

I once 'pulled the trigger' on a Fartmaster. That way, it could never hurt anybody again.

LMFAO @ MGD's link. It's too late fer him, MGD. Methinks he had his mind made up regardless of the advice.

Oh well, been there, done that, learnt me lesson. As long as you're happy, OP (and I can't hear it from my house), that's all that matters.

^^^ Cute.

Want what you want. Doesn't hurt us any, and although I can't speak fer ol' MGD, I'm fairly certain he, like I, simply couldn't care less what you want. Just don't be surprised or offended when we try to advise you against installing a muffler that actually impedes exhaust flow and hurts low-end grunt. That's just being helpful...or, at least, trying to be.

You misunderstood, bud. I don't really give a crap (honest), as most enlightened folks eventually come around on their own. The rest... don't. But - that's what Bell curves are for.

Your mods, holistically, have simply made yer truck look 'different' ( okay, not really, as there are a ton of black-wheeled, blacked out trucks in my hood, and on here - I reckon I'd never even notice yet another one - except the Fartmaster-totin' ones distinguish themselves by their extremely unrefined, ghetto exhaust rackets), lifted, louder, but slower. Not everyone wants that, y'know. At least, not the fellers old enough to have more facial hair than nosehair....

Do any of you guys really believe that 10 hp or 10 ftlb of torque lost or gained are even noticeable on a 6000 pound truck?

I like the setup. Great job on doing it and being different. Yeah don't be and do what they want, doesn't mean its right or you will like it. Clean truck as well. You know flowmasters do have a great sound, imo. It has become a norm for bashing them simply bc they don't flow as great as others, who cares its a big heavy truck not a drag car.. does it really matter or noticeable? No. You will not tell the difference. People seem to be sooo opinionated on a damn aftermarket muffler install and its expectations, when even the best muffler can only do so much! My goodness. Haha man some people.. if you could give a crap then don't express interest in the thread.
