broken bolt

so i did my plugs a while back and had to go pick my grandma up so i didnt have time to change my cops out so i went to change them this am and when i went to screw the bolt back in that holds the cop in it broke in half. any idea how to get this bolt out or how much ford charges for a plug/cop change on a 04 4.6l. im pissed i dont think that coil will stay in by itself long.

You can zip tie the cop down till you can get the bolt out and replaced.

4.6 with plastic intake with a brass insert for the coil hold down?

Easy fix!

Some day you may get a small eezzee out and get the small piece out. Maybe find a tool that helps? If any of the small bolt is sticking up, can you grab it with wire cutters?
As said, a zip tie (good quaility ones last longer) will easily hold it on .... two will make sure .... only the springy insert that contacts the plug terminal is trying to push it out. Work so well you'll forget you done it until next time .... just carry a package of zip ties in a door pocket.
Look close at intake for webbing, some place you can slip the zip tie through or drill a small 3/16" hole for zip ties. Do not drill into a runner!

this sucks but i guess i will zip tie it for now and hopefully it holds. when i put the bolt in it didnt have any pressure behind it and when i took the socket off half the bolt came with it.

Good zip ties will hold it a lot longer than "for now" .... really.
