2005 F-150 Front Bumper (Bracket) Problems
Hey everybody,
I got into a wreck the yesterday, and need to repair my front bottom bumper. Since the wreck the bumper has a downward frowning gaps on both sides.
Brought in to a dealerships body shop, they told me it was the bumper brackets, and it would cost $500/per bracket. Called the dealerships part store, they told me all four brackets would cost me $145 total. I decided I would repair the brackets myself, while saving money and learning how to do it.
The bumper has some minor cosmetic damage, but I'll try to see if just changing the brackets would fix the gap on both sides.
I'm not exactly sure what to unscrew, as I have only taken a couple quick peeks. Any advice or diagrams that a new guy should know about the process?
