Tail Lights Speedo Lights

I have a 2006 F150 XLT I just got in tonight to go grab some food. Both the instrument lighting and my tail lights on both sides are out. Is there any correlation of the two?

No they aren't its just all the lights in the instrument panel and both tail lights. The brake lights work though. I will check the fuse panel under the hood didn't know there was one.

It's pretty much standard practice now and has been for years .... to put park lights (includes tail lights) and dash lights on same fused circuit so when you see the dash lights out, you will maybe check and replace the fuse thus making life safer for those coming up behind you on the highway at night.

Owners Manual, near about page 273-280. Fuse box in passenger side behind kick panel, slot #6. 15 amp mini fuse (it's blue), "Parklamps, BSM, Instrument panel illumination". The chart showing which one is pg 275 on my 2007 book.
