Trying to get all the toys to the hill at once

Anyone mastered an intelligant way to pull their camper and haul their atv at the same time? thought about adding to the frame on the front of my camper as i have done similar fabwork before but in order to move my axles foward to put my trailer back in balance it will bee super high. also thought about extending the tounge of the trailer so i can have my tailgate down when pulling. any ideas?

How much tongue weight does the camper have? I assume it's a bumper pull since you mentioned extending the tongue. If you can't load the Wheeler in the bed and tow the camper, what about a small utility trailer towed behind the camper?

What keeps you from putting the ATV in the bed while towing the trailer?

i will hit the tailgate on the jack of the trailers tongue, also its an older rv so the tongue is very short. maybe 14 inches from ball to propane tanks. im thinking i may just extend the tongue of the trailer to accomidate having the tailgate down. a little fab work never hurt anyone

Friends of mine took a 30 foot "Wellscargo" tandem axle trailer and bought windows and light weight paneling and insulation and cabinets and etc and finished the front part as their "Camper" and the rear 12 or so feet is one big room which back wall is the trailer's tailgate. Bed folds up, drop tailgate, load a bike and a trike (Gold Wings) or they can sleep back there at night. They also have front benches and table that convert to bed s.

put a hitch on your trailer and pull one. but you need a class "A" non commercial license in some states but have seen it done

If you're gonna extend the hitch out, why not make a platform to park the ATV on the tongue of the trailer (sideways)?

yeah that was my primary plan. but then i found out my h2o tank in this old camper is in the front. so in order to balance the weight of the trailer like i was saying, id have to move the axles forward and that would put my camper up pretty high

i actually have a class A commercial license with double and triple endorsment, and pull doubles at work. this really isnt a bad idea, kind of a pain but definately a good option
