So i just baught this truck 2005 f150 xlt
and the guys that had it before removed the muffler and welded a cherry bomb so i am getting the P0059 engine code witch is HO2S Heater Resistance Bank 2 Sensor 1

so i am wondering if this has nothing to do with the removal of the muffler and how i can resolve this!

Replace the front O2 sensor on the driver's side.

Be glad it isn't sensor 1 bank 1 as that is a real PITA to get to.

 

does it have anything to do with the chery bomb and the removal of the muffler! will it blow the 02 sensor once again?

 

Sensor is before the muffler. Has nothing to do with the muffler.

Unless you cut out the cat as well, replace the sensor and you should be good to go.
