belt squeals

Does anybody's drive belt squeal under hard accelaration? I have 5.4 3v engine. Belt was replaced 2 years ago w gatorback. Appears to be in good shape and belt tensioner is maybe a year old. The tensioner operates normally. Just wondering if this is a tell-tale sign of a belt wearing down.

Mine squeals but only at WOT between the 3-4 shift. I have a motorcraft belt that is less than a year old.

Its the belt tensioner kickin in. Is what I believe it to be. Mine does it, and my Mustang also did that too.

yea If i press on belt the the tensioner moves back and forth as its supposed too. I dont have the factory fan on I got e-fans. Maybe that factors in somehow. These 4 spd trannys surely down shift hard espicially when I merge onto the interstates. Thats mainly when I get the squeal.

turned out to be the tuner. Superchips has several options to mod our trucks w most of the tunes coming from WOT(wide open throttle). So in my case the computer tells the truck to downshift to a lower gear to help accelerate faster than the stock tune. This is what was causing the belt squeal. I drove for weeks on stock tune and it didnt happen not once.
