Correct. I painted them because I don't have any chrome on my truck and I think the DSG looks better in my case. If you like them the way they are, just remove the old ones and replace them a set of 09+ badges. They will cost you just over $100 from Tasca Ford. They are the cheapest place to buy them.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I'd be glad to help!

I emailed a seller on eBay and he made it for me. I don't recall his user name, it's been quite a while. I took my handles to my local painter and did the handles and mirrors for $140 if I remember right.

No problem

Thanks! You got a nice looking yellow FX4 yourself. I wish I had your lift and gears under my truck!

No new mods recently, been too busy working lately. I had a little spare time after work some I snapped a few pictures.

I ordered a new 4"x12" Magnaflow rolled tip yesterday, the black powdercoat isn't holding up that great.

About the only yellow truck, or vehicle for that matter that I like.

Thanks! I don't care much for many other yellow vehicles but I've always like the yellow Fx4's.

Just wanted to update my thread since it has been awhile. I've since added:
- Anzo third brake light
- Magnaflow 4" tip (replaced black tip)
- Rancho RS9000 shocks & struts

I picked up the Rancho's for $180 so I couldn't pass them up.

Here are a few pics...

I also just ordered a set of new OEM black running boards for $225 shipped. Originally I wasn't planning on buying them but they help protect from rock chips and also helps all my short friends and family get in the truck

These are what I have on order

I'll post some pictures with the new running boards when they get here

I think I've seen that 3rd brake light before Did you reuse the stock gasket? I did on mine and also sealed the edges with marine grade sealant.

Truck looks great man!

Thanks!

I bet you have! No, I used the gasket that came with it. Looked to seal up well and didn't see a need to reseal the edges. So far so good!
