I think they may have quit making them because the mounting brackets that were producing with the guard did not fit right. From what I've found the earlier produced predators fit correctly and for what ever reason later on they mounted way too high up like this -

Mine fit like this when I first got it. I had to fabricate the mounting brackets to extend the mounting holes down a good 2-3" to make it fit correctly. I need to adjust mine a little bit its slightly higher one side but I plan to get it powercoated soon.

Yours is one of my favorite transformations I've seen in a long time...congrats on a great looking truck! I love the tow mirrors in the last set of pics and the PTM just brings it all together.

Great job, now drive that thing!

Thanks a lot! Same to you, your truck is very nice.

I just rolled over 60k this week. I don't drive it very much, maybe once a week. I live at my job and I have a work truck with free gas

Thanks Brent! Your truck is what made me want to get PTM tow mirrors in the first place

Still undecided if I want to go with smoked tail lights or not

I bought them used from another member for $250 shipped. There's an aftermarket vendor selling them for about the same price.

Could you explain what you did to the 09+ badges, and what you mean about how they come apart? I'm going to swap mine out soon.

My badges are the 09-10 which are one piece. I had to tape off each letter, prime and paint. The 2011+ FX appearance badges (the black and red ones) are two pieces and come apart which are obviously much easier to prep and paint. Here you go - How To: PTM FX Appearance Pkg 2011+ Badges

You'll have to forgive me, I guess I'm a couple years behind on this. Why is everyone painting the new badges? I was just going to swap mine out for an updated look, but when I see the new ones I don't see why I'd need to paint them? Did you paint the surround in DSG because you didn't like the chrome?
