Edge Evolution COMM GEAR question

I have my edge showing the COMM gear that I am in. I am on stock tune just using the edge as a display. My question is what is the little lock symbol that shows up on it for. Mine shows up when I am driving about 45mph and lightly increase peddle pressure. It stays on there till the truck finally downshifts then goes away and once I let off it comes back. When I am putting a little pressure on the gas peddle the truck sort of vibrates a little while the lock is showing...whats the idea?

It's the converter 'lock-up' symbol or overdrive

Overdrive and converter lockup are 2 separate things. Overdrive is 4th gear in a 4 speed and 6th gear in a 6 speed.

If you are getting vibrations in overdrive and lockup when you accelerate slightly around 45 mph you may be having a low grade misfire, it's probably time for new spark plugs and/or coils.

Changed all 16 of those things in October but to a misfire, this almost feels the same way only much more faint and subtle, its just enough you can tell its make a bump

Have you ever had the tranny fluid exchanged?

not since I have had it in October. The fluid is red/pink and does not smell burnt.
