The Swedes 06 Harley

So it finnaly here. Been driving it for a couple of days now and i absolutley love it. Ive come to realise that my plans of putting on a 8" rize and 37" isnt going to happen, mostley because of the milage, and the gasprice over here. So im thinking 2-3" bodylift with 22" rockstars wrapped in 33" toyo mts. Anyhow this will be my official thred were i will post pictures of different projects surrounding the car. First mods on the car will be a new custom true dual exhaust, and a custom built pushbar.

And second:
remove pinstripe
BollBak cover and mods to the bed to fit my kind of work
CAI

and third:
2-3" BL
22" rockstars
33" toyos

here is a few pictures

About building the true dual system. What do you guys think about following the xpipe directley after with this? Soundwise? Performacewise?

Im going with the two tips at the rear setup. I think it looks more agressive from the rear like that.

Take Care!

I can't fathom why you would pay money to reduce the value of your truck. The Stripe is pretty much what signifies it as a H-D edition from the exterior, and the wheels are the other item. You are removing them both, adding in a set of wheels that is completely played out like spinners, and making your truck look like every other truck on the street. Why pay for a H-D and then turn it into something its not?

Side note: your truck do what you want, obviously. I think Harley's are overpriced crap, but if you didn't want the H-D edition, it seems like you would just go buy a cheaper truck to go mod.

i would also remove the stripe, not a fan of it. The stock rims on the other hand, are awesome. I wouldnt change them out. Yeah, rockstars are lame. Obama rides rockstars so you know they arent cool.

Personally I just think the stripe looks like crap. The stock wheels make this car look too flashy and more street-ish. Not my cup of tea. You have to remember that i live in sweden, big trucks are very rare here. So weather the rockstars are played out or not in the states, wont really matter. Thanks for your input though.

The H-D is supposed to be flashy and streetish. That's what a Harley is: lots of chrome made for catching your eye. The H-D was a street-truck, hence the lowered stance, big wheels, non-all terrain tires, etc. I would pass on 22" wheels with A/T tires though, I think 20's are about the max that looks good, especially on a 33" tire.

Keep it stock and lower it......butchering with mods and removals will depreciate the HD value of it....

You can level it out and put some other rims on it but the graphics should stay...

The "Harley Davidson" lettering isn't to objectionable to look at, but the accompanying stripe running up onto the door, looks tacky as hell. IMO

I'm excited to see what you do with it. Not too much tuning from across the pond going on here, so that should be exciting. Have fun, post pictures!

Don't bodylift it, get a level kit or some Bilstein 5100s. You can easily fit 33s either way.
I'd leave the stripe, but if you don't like it, toss it, it's your truck.

Anyone who blames a maintenance person without proof, repeatedly bring up the fellows race even though claiming it has nothing to do with it, then slanders the maintenance person's place of employment on the internet is stupid!!!
