Down to 2 Truck Choices....Help

Both are 5.4 SuperCrew 4wd. Both have column shifters.

2007 Lariat.... White w/tan accents, tan leather interior, 20in wheels.
90,300 miles. Carfax doesn't show any plug replacements done yet.

2008 XLT.... Pueblo Gold with tan cloth interior, chrome 18in wheels.
42,175 miles.

The 2008 is an even 3000.00 more. Trying to see what you guys think.

Coming from a 97 white f150 so the white was first choice, but after seeing the gold truck its kind of growing on me, not to mention its not the most common color. Hope to buy one or the other by mid week, last 2 on my radar sold before I could get to them.

The 08 would still have warranty no? It is low miles. If it still has warranty with those miles I personally would try and get the best deal on that.

Yeah Bonanza,

I thought all King Ranch trucks had floor shifters, but I saw a '12 F250 KR at an auto show with a column shift...go figure.

By the way, I would go with the '08 XLT, for the mileage and possible warranty (as said above).

It is all what you want but if I had to pick I like leather 20 " wheels and white. Look at how many miles you put on a year I only put on about 5000 so I wouldn't mine the 90300 odometer. So I personally say the 07 lariat. Question which one could you see yourself driving in 3 years?

Get the 2008. Newer, less miles. That would definitely matter to me over the color.

Low optioned Lariats had jumpseat and colum shift, no Super Duty Lariats had a full sized floor console with shifters..

On the 08, check to see if the COP boots are brown. If they are, you have the redesigned heads and do not have to worry about plugs breaking on removal. Not a huge deal, but something to consider.

guys i agree go with the newer pickup, but the guy has to be happy with what he gets, we had bought a new '08 f-150 fx4 and dad hated that thing, but we upgraded, but downgraded to a 2009 f-250 XLT and dad is way happier with it. its whatever floats your boat, but yes try the newer pickup with a possible warranty...

They won't be with a build date of 11/07.

Get the 2008. The extra 3 grand will be more than made up for with the maintenance you'll have to do on the other (which is approaching 100K miles)
