door pin pad

how in the hell can i fix the exterior pin pad on my driver side door any suggestions....i really want it to work and it doesnt

Need more info. Is this the factory keey pad that is in the door handle bucket or is it the aftermarket, stickon pad? What year? Was it working fine and just quit?
