Troyer Performance anyone use them

Hey I'm looking at buying a stage 2 performance kit from troyer performance. I was wondering if anyone on here has one. Has anyone ever bought anything from them. How is there service I have emailed them twice now with no response. Not really happy about that but if someone can give me good feed back about them maybe I will continue trying to contact them. Or maybe it's time to look for a differant vendor. Thanks Cory

Good people, excellent service, nice products, small shop, but customers all across the US.
Give them a call tomorrow.

Good shop from what i've read.

For custom tunes, they seem to take a while longer than the others but no negatives about the tunes either.

VMP is another good shop to deal with as well if they have what you want.

VMP is good but some as well as me have had issues with justin emailing back to keep us informed. took about 5 emails within 2 weeks and telling him i wasnt happy about my tunes not working and no email response for him to email me the next day with good tunes. Troyer takes longer but i have heard his tunes are very good. the tunes i got from VMP the 2nd time around are great. he just said i never gave him my HEX code the first time, which i did.

I've dealt with Troyer for almost 5 years. Always top notch; always honest.
FWIW, I have found it MUCH easier to communicate with them via phone than by email. Phone just works better. Matter of fact, it's often hard to get Mike OFF the phone once you start talking with him. He goes into much, much detail about whatever you are doing, and covers all the bases at least twice. Very thorough!
I'm running Troyer's tune on my Rouschcharged 2008. Love it!

The vast majority of people on this site have nothing but good to say about Troyer's tunes. The vast majority of people on this site will also tell you to be prepared to wait quite a while before actually getting your tunes. As long as you know and understand this going in, you should be fine.....

If you want custom tunes from Troyer and don't want to wait several months, make an appointment and take a road trip.

And Troyers doesn't just handle "custom tunes", they'll ask you some questions and lay out some options and even make suggestions based on what you want. I thought I wanted "custom" tuning when I called / visited but after finding out what I had and what I wanted to do, they steered me to my Super Chips FP 1865 and I've been extremely pleased.

There you go .... located on I-64 off Exit 16 on east side of Covington, Va. Exit the Interstate, turn back east at Western Sizzlin on what is Old Rt 60 or "Old Midland Trail" as it was once known, now named locally as "Valley Ridge Road". Couple hundred yards and up the hill on your left.

Road trip = "good".

Another very happy Troyer Performance customer! I've been running their custom tunes since 2008.... Truck runs great! They also recently helped me with SCT when my tuner had an issue with the stock tune.

I called them today very nice people there. I didn't order today just because she told me I couldn't get the air force one intake right now. Only the air raid and I wanted to do some research on those. Plus she gave the option for a mbrp exhause which she said is a nicer exhaust. Little more research on what one to pick then it's order time early next week.

Been a loyal customer to Mike and the family going on 7 years now. As others have stated, its more productive in working with them over the phone as they really make you feel like they dropped everything in focusing only on you. Great customer service and even a better experience having your truck tuned on location. A benefit I have in living somewhat close to his shop. What a fun time. They offer you lunch, treat you like family while having one of the best in the business tune your ride. He's essentially a one man show when it comes to tuning, much to chagrin of his customers, but the guy does right by you and really cares about you (the customer) and more importantly your truck. He really works to maximize every potential based on your combination, driving style and even down to the type of gas you use. I don't work for him nor am affiliated. Just a damn happy customer that's been rocking his tunes and combo for about 7 years now with nary a hitch or hiccup. Good luck!

That is almost the exact words she told me when I was on the phone with her. She said some people complain about the turn around time on the custom toons but he is very **** on making it right
