2006 Lariat No 4wd

Hi, I am new as a member on this site but have found the members to be helpful for years as a guest. I have an 06 f150 lariat which had a transmission rebuilt last week as well as a leveling kit. My 4wd worked perfectly the week prior however I get nothing when I engage the 4wd in high or low not even the orange dash light. I noticed a grinding noise in the right wheel assembly right after the leveling kit was installed and still catch a faint noise at times. My first impression was a damaged vacuum line durning the leveling kit but was under the impression my dash lights would still light up for 4wd. Any insight would be appreciated into this.

My first thought would be to take it back.

^^ yes. They may have forgotten to reconnect or damaged something (shift motor?).
