No, offering the generic loose wire ( or take it to the dealer ) is about as useful as him posting his truck is broke. Not very descriptive.

 

As was posted earlier, there are 2 wires used to heat the mirror, a hot (+) and a ground (-). I thought it would be obvious that one of those wires would be the one that is loose.

Also, I seem to remember hearing that if you had an auto-dimming outside mirror, that it wasn't heated, do you think that may be part of the problem?

Anyone that has an electochromatic/heated mirror, chime in!!

if the problem is not a bad fuse or a loose wire, it is likely in the OP's best interest to take the truck to a professional and get a professional diagnosis.

The mirror I purchased was a defect, I returned it and received a new on. Now it's working thanks guys for all your diagnostics. I have already done all that
