That would be my advice. Always start with the simple stuff first - like the fuse.
I have a test light and when I push in the button on the dash the light lights up.no rear defrost. I know it's not the fuses cause the passenger side works fine? The electro chromatic part of the mirror works. I'm going to take it apart this morning and swap mirrors out with the passenger side then go from there. Thanks guys
If you don't have rear defrost, what button are you pushing to turn on the mirror heat? All the heated mirrors from the factory are operated off the rear window defrost button, afaik

That's the same switch that runs the rear window derfroster - if you have one.
C'MON...akcowboy you don't need to act like that. If you don't have anything nice to say or to help out just don't say anything. No need for name calling. Oh and I don't go to the stealership.
The fuse should be good considering the status light is illuminated, can't hurt to check it.
- Keep in mind, you need to have the heated mirror switch on to test it with a meter or test light on both pins on the back of the fuse.
the status light is fed from the output side of the heated mirror fuse, which is after the rear window defrost relay.
Next, pull the mirror, and check for + VDC at the connector to the mirror.
On the truck's harness it should be Dark Green w/ Violet stripe wire & black.
Think the 07 MY is the start of the common ground ( did I get that correct ) for the mirror accessories. I only have the 06 straight away which is a different connector layout ( shows 3 grounds pin #9 is for the heated mirror circuit ).
My guess is you are not going to find + VDC at the heated mirror circuit when it is on, as the wire is broken in the a pillar to door rubber boot, but this is a guess that you need to confirm.
BTW : How are you testing that the heated mirror circuit is not operational ?

If you've replaced the mirror and it still doesn't work, but the passenger side does, then you probably have a loose wire or bad connection.
