2004 FX4 SuperCrew

I'm thinking of purchasing a 2004 FX4 SuperCrew, but I have been out of the loop for a while since having 2 kids over the last 3 years... Haven't been able to keep up on the truck scene lately! I'm in NY and this particular truck is from Texas and has been there up until last year when the current owner brought it up here to NY (so needless to say, it is rust free and clean). It has recently had the plugs and cam sensors changed. Also has a brand new set of tires installed. Everything works on the truck. Has 144,000 miles. Does $10,000 sound like a fair price? What do you all think? It looks like it has been well cared for and is a clean truck. Anything specific I should look out for? Thanks for the input!

144 is a lot of miles but 10k is a good price if its clean. Its even a better price if you are capable of doing mechanical work yourself. If your not afraid to drop a transmission or replace a starter you will be in good shape. Bottom line is at that mileage anything can happen, the money you save is the positive.
