I had a bull bar on my truck for years .. its been looking pretty crappy of late so I thought I would get another stock license plate cover and put it back. I have a 2004 F150 Lariat 2WD w/ 5.4L and I bought part # 4L3Z-17A385-AAA. Anyone know if I got the correct part? It doesn't seem to fit (nothing to hold the top on) but I can't remember how I removed the old one. Does it just snap in? Anyone have a pic of the way it should look .. that would be awesome. Thanks

 

it clips to the lower half of the bumper opening and then has two tabs that slide between the metal bumper and the valance.

 

I have one I'll get rid of if you need a factory one off an 04 truck. Pm me if your interested.
