Hey Truck Guy,
I agree. If you get down to what actual cost would be to Ford.On the Flairside they put 1/2 of a liner any way.
I see nothing but good for our trucks with the liners.

Do you think these liners will keep mud from collecting up underneath the back bumper? If anyone has been off roading you know what im talking about. Its a pain in the a.. to get the mud out from the rear bumper since it bends up behind it and traps all the mud. Might need mud flaps for that. I haven't seen a picture from the front to back so I dont know how much deflection they cause to the rear.

I tried to install mine today. I have a very early 2004, and I couldn't get them to fit as well as I think they should have. The side next to the frame struck out a couple of inches and kept drooping down. I really didn't want to use screws to keep it in place. (I see someone here did that. I see screws in the photo. Not sure if he was having the same issues or what).

Sooooo.....I cut the rear $33 dollars worth of the liners off chucked the front $66 dollars worth in the recycle barrel. The back 1/3rd fits nicely and will plug up that huge opening between the side of the bed and the wheel well.

So do you have a Heritage? They do not fit Heritage, only new body. Are you sure you received the correct part? There have been many of these sold.If you have read the entire thread you would see that I have a Flairside. They don't mount as the styleside does. They use fender bracket bolts.A flairside bracket is different, there fore the screws(not trying to hide them.Sorry they offended you or what)

Not offended at all, and didn't intend for it to seem like the screws bothered me. I just thought possibly yours were not fitting up tight and you anchored it into place. I didn't see the part about yours being a Flairside. I would have had to put screws in the pinch weld in order to get mine to fit tight against the bed and frame.

My 04 is the new body style (not the Heritage) and it was the correct part number. Now it is a modified part number

Well something is not wright Buddy. They should have fit tight to the bed.Mine were very tight ,but they did push away from the frame a bit.If you look at the pic. with the screws,on the bottom portion, below screws you can see a push pin @ f & r to hold it in.I put the screws in as a extra measure since I could not use the bolt method. You should call Rugged Liner and tell them they did not fit.1-800-433-3604.This is a relatively new product and maybe they will help you.

I have been watching this product for a while on here and another f150 site.Have not seen a bad review.
Later.
