I am not sure if my auto temp is worknig in my 04 F150 Lariat. I left it on ac over the summer and it appeared to be working correctly. Now that it is starting to cool off I am noticing some strange stuff with it. with the outside temp being in the 40's or below and I start the truck with the Temp set to 74, the AC shows as being on. I turn off the AC and it still does not do anything. I have to change the fan speed to get it to heat the truck up. I am not sure if this is possiblly a bad unit or if the autotemp only works with AC. Any thoughts on how I could see where the problem is.

My 2005's Auto Temp Control did some squirlly things & I replaced the control head thought it was fixed for a day or so but issues returned,Battery went bad & I changed it out no issues since changing the battery (Over a year a go) I would recomend you try disconnecting your battery for a few minutes to kinda reboot the ATC & see if that does any good.
