The 2005 4x4 for $1,300 less is probably a better deal.

Yeah, but it has an 'OU' tag on it. That has got to make it worth more!

No that decreases the value if it had a huskers plate that would increase the value!

Apparently you haven't seen the huskers play this year.

Yeah but it's the install that costs the big bucks. If shops charge $300-$500 to install spark plugs you can imagine what it would cost to install an entire engine...

Just go inspect the truck and quit wasting your time on pricing engines and transmissions.

More than 30K a year driven on it? That's worse than my wife!!! 200K+ plus is when to sell, not buy a vehicle.

truck

If this truck is running well as it sits, I'd continue to drive it as it is. Plus i wouldn't pay his asking price. fs

This is a decent deal if your not depending on this truck to get you to and from work every day and two you have the money(+5K$ ) you would have spent buying a lower milage truck sitting in the bank. You might get lucky and get another 100K out of it. If this is just needed for pulling a boat or other truck duties and not as a daily driver I think its a good deal. I just wouldn't want to depend on it since it could go down at any moment.

I'ld say that's pretty good reasoning.
