This was the only paint shop around and the dealership told me that's who they use.. In Atlanta I just happened to be riding around and made a wrong turn... By luck somewhere up in Marietta... Ford has their own paint shop as well as lexus and GM all on the same damn street....

I admit... Maaco was a quick fix to a long term problem... They actually got me for $898.... A sucker is born every 10minutes..

Alot of Lariats have the same setup including the exterior.... The only difference are our seats and badges.. The KR's should have it's own color scheme and accessories.

not necessarily. it all depends on the location, the package, and alot of things. Maaco sells very crappy services for a few hundred bucks up to their premium service (which is at the very least equal to or better than Ford's paint quality) for a few thousand bucks. The problem with Maaco is that people go in and get the cheap service expecting the premium service. Plus all of Maaco's services are a la carte. You have to pay them to do the extra prep and stuff. By the time you get what you want from them, you'll end up spending the same as you would at any other body shop.

I wouldn't want to paint it monotone. The KR is its own breed. It has the color scheme to show that its different. However, the line-x would make for a pretty bada$$ truck!

No matter what the paint scheme is, with all the extra mods waiting to be added anybody would jump all over a fully modded truck.. Second note... I'm not looking to purchase another vehicle for at least 10-12 years and by that time i'll be way over 200,000..

What value will it be worth then??

Heck, do it! If you want a really unique truck...make it stealthy. Tough and bold on the outside, rich and luxurious on the inside. That will throw everyone for a loop. Especially if you line-x it or something. Maybe even matte the whole truck.

Leaning more towards Line-X on the tan part to include the bumpers.. That will be a better option I think...
