Insane build
Okay since we are gonna go THERE.... If I won the Lottery, and yes I would indeed keep my current truck (Sentimental reasons), I would...
#1. 4" lift (Rancho, black powder coated). The 35s just barely rub with the leveling kit, a 4" lift should keep the tires out of the inner fender at full crank.. while not driving my short wife nuts.
#2. Replace the Pro Comp 1089 (polished) with 6089 (chromed) and include spare rim.
#3. Wrap rims with 35x12.50/17 BFG MTs.
#4. Replace front bumper / brush guard with Buckstop bumper / winch mount with cutouts for the off road lights, and a set of 5" round fogs. Fitted with 12K pull Warn winch.
#5. Full mechanical rebuild upgrading the following in the process.
- 4.56:1 gearing both ends.
- Detroit Tru Trac diffs front and rear. I am NOT going rock crawling with this behemoth, so why bother with lockers? Anyway, limited slips are more predictable in mud and ice...
- Gotts Mod & K&N drop in filter. No joke. I already did it, but figured I would let it be known. I don't want to advertise to the inspection people or others a CAI. At my age probably not a problem, but why leave myself open to hassle?
- 120 amp MIN alternator and dual optima setup.
- Magnaflow duals
#6. Have the few dimples on the body smoothed back out.
#7. Custom gullwing tool box similar to the Delta I used to have on it. But thicker material, stronger locks.
#8. Custom black walnut dash top enclosure for CB.
#9. EGR flares painted Dark Stone.
#10. Dark Stone F-150 stripes.
#11. Custom rear bumper with off road backup lights integrated, and swing away spare tire carrier. Including 2 recovery points.
#12. Short Tonneau cover to cover the remainder of the bed from the toolbox back.
#13. Top aftermarket stereo / DVD rig with GPS so I can keep my phone in my pocket instead of suction cupped to the windshield...
#14. Leather interior conversion.
#15. Custom black walnut interior trim (get rid of the black plastic junk).
#16. Hi Lift jack and accessories.
#17. PowerSlot Cryo rotors / EBC Greenstuff pads.
Lastly, I would pick out a nice trailer to yank behind it and hit the road...

I'm bored, time to resurrect a few old threads lol
I would buy a single cab '88 F-150 Custom in Oxford White and build it into the roughest, toughest off-road beast possible...then give it to my friend Robert. That way he could have the TWO toughest trucks in the county. He has an '88 already, and that thing is a beast--you can't kill it.
After that, Crew Cab '96 F-350 8' bed in Black with the PowerStroke and some 37s,
'13 FX4 SuperCrew Lux with the 6.2, and Finally, Action Comics #1 lol

Gen 1 lightning, frame off resto- rebuild engine and tranny. No specific horsepower or time down the 1/4 mile, just fast. 700 HP on tap sounds nice. Gut the interior and have roof shaved in sheetmetal, kinda like the ol' school f100s. Wrap the bucket seats In leather, have the dash and door panels painted and leather wrapped. C-notch the rear end tub the bed, 4 link and bag it on 24x15s. Drop the front and tuck 24x8.5s. Have the paint shop cover it in Ford blue (color of the ford emblem) with mild metallic flake.
Can't have chevy boys have all the fun, and this one ought to be a definite blue oval

gonna revive this a bit, but full frame off body rebuild, 6 inch fab tech lift. super duty tails and tail gate. 4v aviator or cobra swap, eaton twin screw blower, built 4r100 swap, 9.75. keep the original drive train. rebuild it and make some new car with the NPI 4.6, 4r70, and 8.8. then build a climate controlled shop to store the rest of my collected toys!
