My driver side front window was half way down. I hit the switch to go up,the next thing i heard was snap, crackle, pop. I grabed the window before it dropped all of the way down and taped it closed. Went to my dealer got a regulator for $170.53 tax included. I called a local body shop and they installed it for $70.00. I myself did not want to do this.

It really isn't that hard if you follow the writeup. I have done two. The first one took about 2 hours as I kept consulting the pictures and the writeup, but the second took only about one hour. Everything is just unbolt, replace and bolt back, no adjustments or anything.

The motor is rivted to the regultor, that is why I chose to replace it all as a unit, but I don't see how thw regulator could be rivited to the door. It is held on by 4 bolts.
