Talking Iron Bull Bumper and Sprayed Grille Pics

I found a brand new Iron Bull bumper on craig's list for $1200, and I just couldn't turn it down. They normally sell for about $1600 new. Only problem is that the paint they claim is so awesome and tough sucks. I had the bumper on for a week and ran over a little limb sticking up out of the ground and it knocked a chunk of paint off. I took it off and got it sprayed locally with some good bed liner and got my grille sprayed at the same time. I only got the white border of the grille sprayed, not the center part that was already black. And I've got another pair of PIAA 510 lights on the way, I just went ahead and took pictures. What do ya'll think?

Question

Love the "bed liner" sprayed on the bumper and grille, looks great!

Now you have to find a bigger rear bumper and do the same! Maybe weld on some pivoting drop down steps (that swing and lock up out the way when not in use) too!

I'm curious after R&Ring my front bumper .... How is a bumper like your Iron Bull Bumper actually attached to the frame?
Is it just by the same 4 bolts through the welded plates like stock or is there any additional bracing?

You have to use new bolts but yeah it's the same 4 bolt holes on the front of the frame. There's also a support bar that goes from the back of the bumper to the frame on both sides. So it's held on at 3 points on each side with some added support from that brace bar

And you have to cut the very front tip off the frame on both sides

Looks great! I wonder how the sprayed grille would look on a black truck.

Better if the front and rear bumpers are also sprayed I think.

I'ld say that support bar helps a lot to steady all that weight hanging off the front of those mount plates. Especially once you start pulling from a winch or those hooks.

You would probably need to have more than just the grille sprayed for it to not look out of place. I love bed liner though. Eventually I hope to get bushwacker fender flares and get them and my tan rocker panels sprayed. Probably my back bumper too. I guess I'll have a blacked out white truck

I think they're pretty necessary. Without them, I would think that the bumper would get bent down by a winch
