What gear ratio?

I have a 2004 F150 Fx4. What is my rear gear ratio? Also I have been looking into getting a new elocker or something similar to help off road traction. Any advice or answer to my question?

My 04' FX4 has 3.55 limited slip from the factory. I have an early build (10/03 I believe) new body style FX4. I was wondering if the early 04' FX4's that came with 17's have 3.55 LS or maybe it's just the really early 04' builds?

My mistake, partly anways...

From Tylus in an older thread

17"/18" rims gets 3.73 gears
20" rims gets 3.55 gears

all get a Limited Slip 9.75 axle
https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...-question.html

Which I always consider Fx4's to have 17/18's, sometimes I forget about the 20s So yes 2004-2005 would be 3.73. Ford offered the 2006's+ with 20s so the 3.55's would have to come into play here.

Of course I just didn't know if there was some rhyme or reason to the different gear ratios

Yeah I had factory 18's so I have a 3.73. So I have a rear LSD then right? Does the front axle have anything?

Well I guess I got an odd ball because I have 17's on my 2004 and have 3.55's. Weird.
