Its never too late, you can always go back and do them, you'll just need to do the calipers installed under the truck like I did with my old truck. Worked perfectly fine. Or if you are climbing past 80k miles talk yourself into brand new calipers.

The braking does seem quite a lot better with just the fronts redone. It brakes very well. I can feel the front end drop down much more than before on mild braking. The new calipers and pads bite the rotors very smoothly. I am glad I went all out on this. Next is the rear + a bleed.

Nothing wrong with that! Only reason I did rotors was due to the ruined rotor & caliper. But I am glad I bought brand new refreshed parts to replace the aged ones. It brakes great!

I have the rear hawk lts pads and power slot rotors should have them on in just a few more months, when its not 90 and humid here and my stock pads still have life on them. Ill post up how they ride once I get them installed.

You know I thought the setup was pretty good until I noticed you didn't replace the brake hardware. The sliding surfaces are all rusted out. The springs are all rusted. Rock Auto sells the brake hardware kit for pretty cheap. You should always change that stuff out when you do a brake job. Ford told me their brake shoes all come with the hardware kit. Keep it in mind for future changes...

I inspected the bolts, the slider boots, and the pad contact sliders were all in fine condition and I sanded the sliding surface of the caliper sliders. I am confident in their well being and inspect those areas every rotation. But thank you for the notice and information.

looks good!, idk how you got the pads to stay with those springs on them i always have to hold them and walk the caliper on otherwise the pads like to spring out.
