Push your fingers between the cushion and the plastic part along the seat. You'll feel the metal part in there, just pull it up really hard.

After pulling on it the squeaking seemed to subside a bit. I need to try again. That seat plate is thick and very hard to bend. Did anyone use anything to pry it up? I just don't want to rip the seat cloth.

Def fixes the squeak until I sit on the seat again and push whatever I'm pulling up back down. What is that part that is squeaking? Wonder if they will replace it under warranty.

Mine is still squeak free, 18,000 miles since I fixed it.

Now it's just that brake peddle squawking!

Thumbs down No joy

Didn't work for me. I felt the pan you're talking about, and pulled up on it. Even got a big flatblade screwdriver and some cardboard for cushion and pried up. But, this did not affect the sound at all. I think the track needs greasing. Will be searching for more before trying to wing it. Hope I remember to update here with results if I'm successful.

My squeek comes from the back rest near the seat belt attachment . any suggestions for that? it drives me nuts and have to turn up the radio to flush out the noise.
