Backfires and power problems
Lately when I step on the gas it either bogs down, jumps off starting line or backfires then bogs when I let off the gas a little it tries to run normally. I am afraid to pull out in front of anyone unless I have a lot room

My dad has a 93 Lincoln Town Car,4.6 engine.He just had the same exact problem you have.The mechanic he took it to had to replace the fuel pump,blow out the lines,clean the tank,replace the fuel filter,fuel pressure regulator,and 2 injectors.Cause; bad gas!
