Those fluids arnt going to cause you any damage if you have to drive them an extra 5k miles and save the extra money to get it changed at the dealer. I would just save a little more and get it done at a reputable dealer with reasonable prices.

I stopped trusting quick-change places, after they put anti-freeze in my winshield wiper fluid container. Chowder heads! Try driving over the pass in a snowstorm with your wipers doing nothing but making a big smeary mess on your window.

i wouldn't even let them change fluids on my daily commuter POS!

One time I had a trip come up right when I needed an oil change so I brought my truck to them... when I got it back, there was oil everywhere.... even on the leather inside!

In an emergency or traveling, the engine oil, OK. But tranny and anything else- NO WAY!

my brother in law used to work there. He went in there with ZERO mechanical ability. Never even changed his own oil. He then turned into master know it all mechanic. They also work on commission, the more crap they sell you the more they make.

Just do it yourself. You become a better rounded person, with an appreciation of the guy who does it for a living. Or you could just be cheap.

I let my local dealer do my oil changes.I have known most of the techs there well over 10 years.
I would never let an oil change shop even oil my bicycle chain!
