Sorry its taken so long to reply
The Sickhids are back at Sickhids getting devil eyes. I really like them and didnt have the money at the time.
With the train horns, I havent went " mudding" with them back there but I have done some minor off roading with them and they have taken it well. Keep in mind the Nathan horns are mounted on top trains going who knows how fast through rain, heat, cold, snow, all wather and probably get hit by birds and trees at some point in there life, so they can take some abuse. I wouldnt expect them the do well if you were to bottom out and cram them full of mud. I drove through flooded roads when it was flooded around here, and when I got out of the water I hit the horn and it blew the water out. As for the compressors and pressure switch, I wouldnt expect them to handel too much water and stuff.
I put my train horn build in my sig so you can check it out. I mounted horns, compressors, and tank to 1 steel plate and lift / lower the horns with the spare winch. No issues doing that and best I can disconnect it and lower it and drive off. I did put some added security in with bolts that have security heads and are on the sides so they are hard to get to and not easily seen.
