M/C if you don't want any issues. I know some will make some wise crack remarks about the M/C two piece plugs, but as long as you follow the TSB everything will be fine.

Or don't follow the TSB, and you can still be fine (like me). But buy the Motorcrafts, they're fine replacements for 2 trucks I've done so far

Put in what you took out, Motorcraft. Only way to keep the VCT block happy and healthy.

I beg to differ, I have been running Champions(double platinum, one piece design) for 26,000 miles now with zero problems. Earlier on, maybe three years ago there were scattered reports of problems with Champion plugs. However if you check this site and others, you will see that most if not all users of the Champions are very satisfied with their choice. I know that I am happy with the choice, and won't have to worry about breaking plugs when the time comes to change them. In the end the choice is is yours. Just wanted you to know that other viable options exist. Good luck.

The replacement Motorcrafts are taperd slightly and there is no breakage problem. I am coming due for my second set in about 2000 miles. I was just talking to my service rep at the dealer(had teh oil changed) and he said they had 2 guys doing the plug changes and they had not had one break in over 6 months. None of mine broke at 65,000 and I don't expect any to break at 130,000.

To be honest, I don't know which one is the better choice.....The double platinum should give you a longer life and they cost a little more that the single. Probably if I was changing plugs right now, I would use the double. Hopefully someone will chime in here to clarify further for you.

I just went by Advance Auto to pick up some plugs. They had the SP 507 for $7.00 and change and the SP 515 for almost $10 Bucks a piece. They had niether one in stock and were going to have to order.

I know the 515's are double Plat. but what exactly does that mean ? For an additional $25 bucks or so. I would guess its worth the investment. As long as there is a difference...

I've seen it explained, but don't recall the difference. I think member glc said that both the strap and the electrode were platinum instead of just one, on the 515. I think most just go with the 507. That is what is in my truck and I have about 60,000 on them with no problems. I will go with the 507 again.

You may want to read my post, my spark plug saga. I put in the sp515 and the truck ran horribly. My plugs had been changed by the last owner and they had put in autolite HT1. I wished someone local would have had the sp507 in stock so I could have installed them, but the local part stores only had autolite HT1 on Saturday.Don't get me wrong the HT1 are running great. I just would have liked to have installed the sp507 and see how they would run in my truck. Just wish you luck with what ever you go with.

It wasn't likely from the SP-515's. BTW, rockauto.com has either sp-507/515 in stock and they sell formuch less than that.
