Angry 04 F150 failed Emissions

My f150 failed emissions, it only has 46000 miles on it. It had not been driven over 3 weeks, I took it to lubengo for my texas inspection and surprise surprise it did not pass. Emissions test results catalyst not ready Evap Not Ready o2 sensor not ready o2 sensor htr not ready. I recently disconected the battery, changed the to oil to syntecblend, changed oil and air filter. What should I do?

You just need to drive it around

When you disconnected the battery and left it off you reset the internal computer and all the diagnostic codes the truck stores. With emissions testing if there is not enough memory on the PCM when the emissions testing hooks into it it will come up with "not ready". I had the same problem when I reset my Edge tuner to stock before my test. Simply drive your truck for about 30 miles or so. Do a couple cold starts, a couple hot starts, vary your speed, do city/traffic driving and highway driving. Then take it back.

I drove mine around for a day and took it back, passed with flying colors. There is nothing wrong with your truck

Yep, called "drive cycles". It's a list of things the computer wants to see done before it says that it's ready. Not just necessarily one of each, but it's looking for a broad range of things that will only be met as Black FX4 says, by driving it around for a while (not just a few miles either) and employing a wide range of "experiences". You'll be happy, the truck'll be happy and the test equipment will be happy.
