Heated Mirror Problem

Hi Everybody, not really new to forum but finally registered. Thank you for all the great information that i have been reading here. You cant beat these forums for GREAT advise..... Now for my problem, I have heated mirrors and my drivers side is not working....all fuses are good. Where do i start looking? How do you take the mirror apart to inspect wiring and heater element? BTW I have a 2004 f150 5.4 xlt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

The glass just pops out. Give it a pull and it will pop out, it snaps into the mirror body. On the back of the mirror glass there is a ball and socket type of joint.
You just side the glass all the way one side or another, you can slip a long screwdriver in back of the glass at the connection and it pops right out.
